SENSORAPY

A design that manipulates light in physical space to generate an immersive interaction arena and a meditative, transcendent spatial experience, which reminiscent of the cosmic sky and streams of information. Translating the ideas and understanding into a physical space framework with a strong identity.

A space for pause and reflection

Aims to bridge the gap between the world, people, and create a landmark for the community.

To create an atmosphere for the users as if they are discovering unknowns while they are experiencing the space. Transforming the physical space with metaphysical meanings.

Hoping to create a more inspiring and spiritual space which can also be flexibly used in static and dynamic states. This space is meticulously designed to emit feelings of harmonious tranquility with many sensorial layers. It evokes a subtlety and warmth that awakens the senses, prompting us to reflect through a discovery of the sublime.

This is a design that manipulates light in physical space to generate an immersive interaction arena and a meditative, transcendent spatial experience, which reminiscent of the cosmic sky and streams of information. Translating the ideas and understanding into a physical space framework with a strong identity.

Delicate use of mass, light and sense gives rise to a unique program, full of sensory experiences to contribute to the well-being and development of the community. Hoping that people will be in the most relaxed state, and see a different world than usual. Here, the world has a special rhythm, and is being decomposed into the most basic elements, showing a basic state behind the complicated world.

COLOUR

Colour and material becomes an essential element within the space providing a sensory experience for physical activity. The colours and textures of the materials used change the feeling and the requirements of the space.
Colour and light at its secondary level, is used not as a decorative element, but becomes an expressive instrument with a psychological-sensitive quality. The vibration of the different colours becomes a support of encouragement in the activity of exercise or recovery.

CURVED

What from the outside is seen as a rigid geometry, inside becomes quite flexible when entering the building through a series of rooms of different shapes. The space in between these rooms forms a maze-like structure, with an intimate circulation that leads to the centre.

LIGHTing

The natural light is an ever changing element from sunrise to sunset. The large glass windows invites the natural light to vibrate with colours and materials used inside the space. The materiality of light grows and varies throughout the day and becomes tangible, tracing invisible and suggestive lines, emphasising shapes and shadows, articulating the variations of each of the inner rooms, thus giving them character.

VOID

The idea that emptiness is never empty at all, if you look at insistently, but the space where life and emotions can be projected into. The voids and staircases are to strength the relationship between the levels, the relationship of the community.
The cafe and walkway, irradiated solely through a skylight, is embraced with voids and smooth curved walls which further enhance the volume and depth of the space. You can feel the changes of light throughout the day from the building.
